33. ASICS Österreichischer Frauenlauf und www.vienna-guide.co.at war dabei. Mit 15.542 Teilnehmerinnen aus 75 verschiedenen Ländern! Hat definitiv Spaß gemacht! Mit einer guten Freundin an Deiner Seite geht alles viel leichter. Ich freue mich schon auf das nächste Mal! Hoffentlich, bist Du dann auch dabei!
I met Amela in New Zealand in 2006, but recently while in Vienna, it was the first time I got to see her in action as a Vienna tour guide. She was was remarkably knowledgeable of the history and culture of the city, she was very attentive to my frequent questions, picked up on my interests and was able to taylor the tour (for example she knew the filming locations of the 90s film Before Sunrise and included some of them). She also knew that I was keen on the art and architecture of Hundertwasser and gave me a refresher tour of the Hundertwasser house and village. On another day we went to Shoenbrun palace and she was able to give me insights to the lives of where the Hapsburgs once resided. I came away thinking of them not just as royalty, but a real family (and I hadn’t watched
Die Kaiserin yet!). Amela makes the people and the places come alive. I thank her for her meticulous work would recommend her to anyone who wants more than a superficial tour of the city.
